Hot Blooded
I absolutely believe that every woman needs a red lippie in her makeup bag- you don't have to wear it all the time, but there is nothing more timeless than a classic red lippie. So, for the girls who can't wear red (and the ones who can)- I created Hot Blooded. It's a complicated color- multi faceted made with some warm reds, some cool reds, and some bits of other things to make it more interesting. It took me a solid week to perfect this color- I sat my friend down, and we tried countless formulas to get it just right- and it looks teriffic on her (she's warm toned with pigmented lips).
I wouldn't call this a true red- it's red-ish, kind of a deep-ish cranberry color. It's hard to describe- but it's looked good on everyone who's tried it. This red is so pretty that normal, law abiding women tend to get 'sticky fingers' around it and if I leave a tube of this around it disappears. Click here to see swatches
