The Smokey eye is the cosmetic equivallent of the little black dress.  It always works, it never goes out of style- and it looks fantastic.  This is a straight take on a classic, and it's actually really simple to do.

To do a smokey eye
Apply a wash of Platinum- our silvery satin color, all over your lid.  Then deepen the crease with a bit of Carbon our sheer crease color, add a little Diamond to highlight either the corner of your eye near the tearduct, or browbone or both- then line with a little bit of Coal our deep matte black.  A few coats of mascara, and you're done!

You get a 5 gram jar of Diamond, Platinum, and Carbon.  You get a 3 gram jar of Coal...it's all black pigment- you'll never use it up.
