Lavender is the color of French Lavender- purple but with a lot of blue, and neutral grey undertones.  My mother-in-law lives in Provence- the lavender grows absolutely everywhere and it's one of my favorite things about visiting her! It's an exact match to the bouquet I brought home with me.
