Propinquity is a plummy mauve matte shade with golden pearl highlights.  It looks great on a lot of different skin tones, but it is slightly pink, and may not look great on super deep skin tones.

It goes well with Defenestrate to make the Smart Mouth duo.

Propinquity started life as a GWP color and was the #1 most requested GWP color EVER.  It's completely unique- we don't make anything else like it (Earth and the Suedes come sorta close, but not really).  Propinquity means closeness.  The deeper meaning is that we all touch each others lives in small ways all the time- the guy you sit near on the bus, the shopkeepers you visit, people you pass regularly on the street.  They're seemingly inconcequential meetings, but if they weren't there you'd miss them- maybe ask how they're doing.  This color was created and named in honor of one of my favorite teachers of all time.
