Romp is a very bold purple, but it's also a little bit sheer with a good amount of shimmer, and some fun interference.  For day, I have absolute confidence you could blend it out and make it more subtle- but if you apply it over a base it becomes an intense electric purple with blue highlights.  It's like Breathe on steroids.
