Unblush is a green tinted Perfecting Powder that works to reduce redness. It's absolutely sheer. Just a little dusting takes away any redness- and helps to set your makeup.

Full size is 1-1/2 teaspoons in a 10-gram sifter jar. Samples are 1/4 teaspoon in a 5 gram jar.

Like most women I have some things here and there that I would rather not show to the world- you know, some redness from my rosacea, some dark circles when I don't get my beauty sleep, and the occasional zit. I tried for years to find something that would cover those issues well. I thought that if I could just find some foundation or a concealer that was thick enough that it would work- product after product just didn't work right. I remember I tried to use a green concealer from the drug store to get rid of a pimple and rather than getting rid of the red it turned it green- it was just too thick!

What I've found is that most women don't need a ton of coverage- when you put on enough foundation or concealer to acutally cover what you're trying to hide- it, well, looks like you're trying to hide something.

Things like blotchie redness, and under-eye circles are discolorations- covering them works- but if you can neutralize that discoloration it looks a lot more natural.

So- we have Unblush.
It works with the color wheel.

The basic theory is that if you mix opposite colors together you get something neutral- so yellow neutralizes blue, and green neutralizes red.

The trick is getting it sheer- a lot of the yellow or green concealers on the market are thick- so thick that instead of neutralizing the color it just paints it the opposite color.

A sheer concealer sounds strange- but for discolorations it works wonders.

This concealer works on anything red- blemishes, broken capillaries, irritation, and general blotchieness. I have rosacea- and this really gets the red out!

Our concealers start with a base that's a lot like our Perfecting Powder- silky, and sheer with light diffusers so it minimizes the appearance of "texture" issues- anything from fine lines to bumps- it smooths out the light and makes skin look smoother.

This goes on either under or over foundation- I like to use it over foundation- but under is fine too.
