Re: Snowpocalypse 2011

OMG, it took me four hours to drive to work yesterday morning. I'm a native Texan, and I'm just not used to this sort of thing. Our cities do not purchase equipment to deal with the roads because it would only be used perhaps twice in a season, and our cars are not even fitted with any sort of snow ...

Re: the "ultimate" spring blush?

My alltime favorite was/is Sassy which was a straight on sheer matte peach (i think it's due for a revival, but that's just me lol) and lovelace was kind of made to replace it (though lovelace is a much more intense and slightly pinker version). It had a shimmer version called "rich" also...

Re: Bamboo Pink (Clinique)

I know you do a lot of dupes of trendier brands...like MAC, Urban Decay, benefit, and Stila- but some of my first exposure to non-drugstore makeup was Clinique. I was never a particularly brand loyal person when I was using more expensive makeup, but that really changed with Silk Naturals.

Re: Controlling oily skin with minerals

OK, mid-30s, very oily here. I start off by mixing my serums and letting them dry. I use Super Serum and Oil Control Serum. Sometimes I mix a drop or two of argan oil with this on drier, colder days. Using oils on your face will not make you oilier, not really. You might like the Green Tea and Aloe ...

Re: Gumball Hair Stuff....

As an aside, my favorite volumizer is not strictly a volumizer. It's Redken's Spray Starch. It's a godsend for heat-styled hair on a rainy day. I had great hair for a wedding in the pouring down rain with that stuff.

This Volumizing Gel produced similar results!

Re: Gumball Hair Stuff....

I used the Volumizer this morning. I have a lot of hair, it's fine-textured, but tons of it. My hair is bobbed, so I like to have lots of volume. My custom is to clip it in several sections and blow it out using a high-wattage hot air brush (I'm not coordinated enough to use a blow dryer and a round...

OMG, I am so embarrased. It's not my birthday. I went and checked my profile...and I realized that the month and date were reversed. I didn't even notice any of that when I registered. :(

Re: Reviews on site?

Oh, good- it's gone. I know it's a bit officious of me and all, but it kind of flew all over me that someone would review one of the products without even USING it to trash ingredients.
