What color is your bruising?
What color is your bruising? IMHO, the ideal solution would be a foundation that matches your face seamlessly. If you don't have a perfect foundation match, try dusting on sheer powders that are opposite on the color wheel to your bruising. The complementary colors may help diminish their appearance.

colored lippies that are flavored or scented
Colored lippies that are flavored or scented (besides with SN's customary vanilla/stevia) top my SN wishlist every Valentine's. Edible flowers also appeal to me. Also, maybe a light pink eye shadow with light blue, lavender, green and gold sparkles/shimmer? Similar to Icing GWP lipgloss in eyeshadow...

Yes, acids do self-neutralize on the skin.
Since most AHA's neutralize on the skin at some point ( usually around 20 minutes) then aside from the skin thinning issues wouldn't it be safe to apply Retin A after this has occurred? Yes. Or are you better off alternating days, using an AHA one night and a VIT A prep another? Vitamin A derivativ...

specifying AHAs, BHAs, and topical retinoids
Since The Beauty Brains blog recently posted an entry that's tangentially relevant to this discussion, I thought I'd share an elaboration of my response above: AHAs include alpha-hydroxyoctanoic acid, glycolic acid, hydroxycaprylic acid, lactic acid, malic acid, sugar cane extract, triple fruit acid...

Do not refrigerate mandelic acid serums.
Mandelic acid or salicylic acid serums can crystallize in the refrigerator and won't return to their desired states even after they're no longer refrigerated. This is irrelevant to SN's current skincare products, but I thought I'd share!

counteractive ingredients
Yup, what Karen said about gentle products. Is there any particular reason you want to wean off Retin-A? If you can tolerate its inconveniences, Retin-A is a proven anti-aging ingredient . Retin-A thins the top layer of skin while thickening the bottom layer of skin. If you'd like to use Silk Natura...

Bumble & Bumble hair powder in black
Thanks for the rec, egerandi! I have Bumble & Bumble hair powder in black and the black clings tenaciously everywhere -- clothes, skin, towel, counter, floor. I have a designated dry shampoo brush that's coated in black.

dry shampoo
Since the Cranberry Passion Fruit Cleansing Conditioner has been favorably received by the forum, I wondered if Karen would be interested in making dry shampoo, so I searched for the phrase and found this thread. My primary struggle with dry shampoos on the market is that they appear white (like dan...
