Yeah, that's just rude (to review something you haven't even used). There are plenty of things (not on SN, but in general) that I wouldn't use based on ingredients, but that is different than giving an opinion on a product you have never even seen or used.

It's not that they are bad, just that they are high GI (they have a large impact on your blood sugar). This also depends on how you cook them. I generally cook them with the skins on, and eat them with protein.
