I honestly don't know what the purpose of step number four is. I'm assuming it's to sterilize but I really don't know. The instructions I found on how to press told me to do it so I did! Here is also another method:

you clean out the pan to remove oils so the pigment stays in the pan when it dries. i will warn you that shadows pressed with straight alcohol tend to be brittle and hard, but the EZ press medium works really well!

Here are my pics, the photos don't do them justice, they look much better in real life!

The shades are:

Column 1 - 9:59, Pink Twink, Diamond
Column 2 - Velvet, Plush, Adventure
Column 3 - Earth, Dolce, Idolize
Column 4 - Grassroots Green, Gator Gold, Mirth
