I ordered several samples recently & still have not mixed my foundation. I purchased the Medium Coverage sample kit. I am fair with a bit of pink. I did also purchase several samples the HD cream foundation & it seems that the colors that swatch the best on my face/neck are G20, C20 & C30. I have Zuzu Luxe L-3 (too pink for me) & L-6 (too dark) - if that gives you a frame of reference. The other non-natural foundation I have been wearing is a mix of a couple of colors to get by until I find the right color for me.
Thank you for your help!

Start with Ebony. 1 scoop color to about 7 scoops white.

Re: Please help with initial sample mix...
Thank you! That mix works pretty well. It may be a tad too dark, but I'm sure I could always add a tiny bit more white (right?).
I'm sorry that I started a whole new thread. I thought I had looked everything over, but apparently I had not went far enough into that top thread to realize it was still active.
When I put some on, I noticed how large it made my pores look, so I went to the other cheek & added the HD primer & then the foundation - they looked even bigger & more noticable. What can I do to help the situation?

Yes, you can add more white.
Usually, people find they need more hydration in the skin when switching over to mineral foundation. Also, take a look a little while after it settles into the skin. Sometimes it will look smoother when it blends with the oils on the surface of your skin.

Re: Please help with initial sample mix...
Just a follow up: I'm finding C30 a great match but 1:8 ebony is too orange. Any suggestions?

Try a few more scoops of white.Emma321 wrote:Just a follow up: I'm finding C30 a great match but 1:8 ebony is too orange. Any suggestions?
If that does not work, yours might need blue, but you would be a rare case!
