Viva Glam Gaga lipstick dupe

I don't typically follow Mac's product releases, nor do I own any of their products, but when I saw an ad for the Lady Gaga lipstick they have as an L/E I had to do a double take. It looks absolutley gorgeous! I would love to see an SN dupe of this

The Cyndi one, in the coral tone, looks lovely, too. As soon as I saw it, I thought of our Ladycattat. The Gaga one looks like a bluer version of an SN colour - what was it called? Desire? The predecessor to Centerfold. Can't remember one that pale and cool toned without being brown. These could be really popular colours. The Gaga one looks ghastly against the skintone of the woman wearing it on the Temptalia lip photos, but it means it'll be sensationally pretty on cooler toned skins I guess. Nice job MAC, distinct and unusual colours.

Those are great pics, the Cyndi one looks like Verve (I don't own that one, so just going by swatches) or like Temptation (except without shimmer).

Yeah, you're right, but it's a bit more rosey pink than those. I can't think of any direct dupes. Had a quick look at the other new MAC releases - seems like we'll have every shade of pink right through the year. Warm pinks and soft corals for summer but lots of cool pinks with a strong blue base, too.

I'm distinctly warm-toned (yellow/peach undertones) and MAC Viva Glam Gaga is exactly the type of lip color I hate: pale milky cool (blue) pinks. Meanwhile, MAC Viva Glam Cyndi (reddish coral) immediately appeals to me because I love sheer reds. I'm glad I have a whole year to decide if I want to buy VG Cyndi. I don't need it but it does benefit charity.

I really like the Cyndi one, very pretty! The Lady Gaga one kind of reminds me of Bloom...I don't have Bloom, but from swatches I have seen they look similar.

to make a dupe of a product when the profit from it goes to charity? :oops:

Its the fact that Mac is not natural, so many of us can't wear it because we don't want to be using parabens and such. So our only hope to be able to have a lippie that looks like that is with a dupe.
