Need foundation and any other color advice

Post by KrysD » Fri Dec 14, 2012 10:06 pm

This picture was taken outside with no makeup. I have dark brown, almost black hair with blue/green eyes. Most people think my eyes are blue at first glance. I look better in white than cream. I look better in vibrant colors like emerald green than I do in rustic colors like army green. My veins are more bluish in color. I believe I am considered cool. I have aggrevating red undertones on my face probably rosacia, idk.
Please help me with my foundation color mixture. Other recomendation for eye shadows, lipstick, blush would be helpful too! Thanks in advance everyone for all your help:)

For foundation, I would normally recommend Ebony, but Olive might also be a good option because of the redness. In Ebony, you will be 1 scoop color to around 7 or 8 white. In Olive, 1 scoop color to around 11-14 white.

For blush, I really would stick to a bronzer if the redness is isolated to the cheek area. Otherwise, try Flirt or Satisfied.

For lips, try Breathless, Maiden, or Eden.

Eyes: Alibi and Linen for something simple. If you want something a little more involved, we can add to those.

Most of my redness is in the cheek area. Wearing just bronzer is an excellent idea that I never thought about. Thanks so much Jen! Your advice is very helpful. :D
