Hi everyone,
I'm Aquamaid, also known as Marielle and I live in Belgium. Although not new to Mineral makeup, I am focussing my attention on the lovely products I see here on SN.
The hardest challenge will be finding my foundation match but I'm already just about drowning in all the pretty eyeshadow colours I feel I have to have!

Welcome! Lovely to see you here (and so many new ladies, too). Just jump right in with asking questions if there's anything we can help with. They've been super helpful to me and I know they'll make you feel just as much at home here, too.

Hi Aquamaid! This is Tracy--tyk71-- on the edm forum.
I thought it would be hard to find a foundation match, but it really did not take long, and I like that I can easily adjust my foundation now. The silk formula did not agree with my skin, but I love the vegan formula.

Hey Aquamaid! It's good to see you here! As Zooeyblue said, it's easier to find a match than you might think. I could never get a good match with EDM, but found one here pretty quick. There's a thread you can post your picture on and get advice on mixes. Jen's great at recommendations!

ITA!! I could never find an exact match in EDM but I posted on here and Jen suggested olive. I had always thought I had olive skin but EDM's olive bases made me look super ill and sickly so I had not attempted SN olive base. I gave it a go and it is an absolutely perfect match for my skin tone. I also find SN foundation provides a far more natural coverage than EDM and it sooooo silky smooth and creamy to apply
