Those are beautiful! You should sell some of your work.

I do Martial Arts, although I don’t want to admit how long it’s been since I have been to the Dojo for traning.

Holy crow those are amazing!!! We had those same dining room chairs growing up!

I knit- socks mainly, crochet a bit, sew- but mainly out of necessity (I'm fussy about how things fit), and occasionally I make jewelry although not nearly as well as you paint. Waaay back before I was married I did some glass lampworking and made beads, but lately I've been messing around with recycling found objects.

I'm so not an athlete I'm always in awe of people who can walk and chew gum at the same time- let alone break boards, or contort themselves into yoga poses.

Being a klutz (remember just last month I flung myself headfirst into a concrete wall,LOL!) & *not* graceful, I admire agility & grace.

Used to crochet a lot & used to knit, too. Challenged myself by knitting in the dark, ROFL! True! At drive-ins (showing my age,LOL!), I'd knit in the dark (after all, it really is all feel) waiting for the movie to start.

The chair was a recycle,ROFL...picked up curbside & scrubbed before painting. Had never done such a thing & really no reason to do it other than Michael brought it home for me to "do something with",LOL! So I played for 3 days outdoors on the front porch. The lamps were el cheapo ones from Home Depot, totally plain...same story...I couldn't find a thing that blended the myriad colors in our LR at the time, so he challenged me to "do my own". Now NOTHING is safe...mailboxes, switchplates, old milk cans, you name it. He needs to stop dragging things home,ROFGiggling!

For those of us that like to craft, but are not quite sure where and how to start.......Rosie O'Donnell has a wonderful new book called Crafty U, that is a great book with tons of crafty ideas that you can(theoretically) do with your kids. I have purchased it, and skimmed it, and there are tons of fun ideas in there that look really, really easy!

Mikie, I had to post and say how beautiful your pieces are! I'm quite impressed. If I tried something similar, I am quite sure it wouldn't turn out as well.

In my free time, I love to cook and swim. I LOVE to swim, and swam competitively for years. It's a great sport, and something you can still do when you're 80 (little to no pressure on the joints!). I also love to sew, but I haven't had my machine out in ages because I've been living in dorms or a small cramped apartment where I couldn't really set it up. Now that we've moved into the new house, it will be one of the first things I get situated!
