Re: It made my day...

Almost missed this! thanks Frond for pointing me here :)

What made my day
- finally getting the bug in my code @ work
- the excitement of looking for furniture for our future new place (as daunting as this move is turning to be)

Re: Must have Matte Eye Shadows

Eu-taupe-ia is a must have, I am warm toned and it is not too cool for me, it is a perfect all-over fool-proof shade.
I also like Basalt - very dark brown, neutral, goes with everything

Re: Too many purples!

You definitely *need* Aubergine. It is a stunning liner.
If you like purples, I would go for this one and Vineyard... and Breathe, it is such a pretty light purple.

LOL. My brother said we should get one of those His and Her towels.... just one :D
But as fun as that sounds, group gift is probably healthier.

Thanks all!

Re: Social etiquette question

So it seems the spouses of the other people were invited...

Had not thought of the group gift idea, that is an excellent suggestion!

Social etiquette question

One of my BF's coworkers is getting married. When he asked my BF to confirm attendance, BF said he had not yet discussed it with me, and then his coworker said "Oh, sorry, she is not invited, we do not have room". I've met him before (just once or twice). In Mexico, we would consider this ...

Oh, I just saw the picture of the BB palette that Sam posted, and it looks fantastic. Definitely suitable for holidays.

Re: Holiday!?!?!?

The liner palette is a wonderful idea. I would be delighted with that.
I'd also like to see Riddle back, and a light pink blush :) Not that I need help for the "just out of the cold" look in Canada.
