Stila's Sapphires quad

I saw the newest Stila quads at Sephora, and I fell in love with the one with all the blues, Sapphires smokey eye palette. I'm hoping I can make my own using the available shadows in the blues, or beg for something similar to come around :) I saw the SN smokey eye palette, but it seemed a bit differ...

Re: Holiday and Skin Care- What would you like?

I'll check it out, thanks! I'm at the point where I consider making my own stuff, but I'd rather not have to worry about it :) I've been using the sample raspberry day cream/lotion for a few days now, and I really like it, so here is to hope Karen surprises us with something equally nice :) If not, ...

Re: Holiday and Skin Care- What would you like?

So just found out that I shouldn't be using my trusty Cetaphil cleanser that has been my staple for about 10 years. Yeah, I was under a rock... Would it be possible to concoct something that gentle but thorough cleanser that doesn't contain parabens and all the other yucky stuff. I have combo skin, ...

Re: That moisturizer sample that came in my last order

For that one...it was designed as a face moisturizer- but it does have shea butter in it, so it's better as more of a night cream. It's also good for hands if you want to try it that way too. It's probably not going on the site in that form- I switched a few things around that I like a little bit b...

That moisturizer sample that came in my last order

I received a shea camille (?) moisturizer in my last order. It smells and feels wonderful, just want to make sure it was indeed intended for the face :) It's a bit thicker than my usual stuff, so just wondering. Oh yeah, loving the colors and all my new blushes! About 4 years ago I wasn't wearing bl...

Re: blush turning orange (update: lavender concealer)

I remember this being discussed on another minerals forum and a solution, which worked for most people, was to apply an undercoat of lavender or blue concealer to both counteract the orangeyness and to add another layer of 'insulation' (if ye like) between the blush and whatever facet of your skin'...

blush turning orange

I don't know why, but no matter what sort of blush I use, it ends up turning a bit orangey on my skin. I put moisturizer on, then some primer (but same happens without, or regardless of the brand I use), then my overwhelmingly ebony foundation and then the blush, and finish with the perfecting powde...

Re: more muted one-color washes?

I'm considering pressing my shadows, some of them, as they travel much easier. Has anyone noticed a difference using fingers for washes on pressed shadows?
