I wonder if you could transfer the samples into the round metal pans that are meant for the new freestyle palette, and then make your own palette that way. You could scrape the sample out and transfer it to the pan and heat it up a little, like maybe pop into the oven for a couple min so the product...

I think I know what you are talking about. There is a little rotating part attached to the sifter that can be turned to cover up the sifter holes, so the powder doesn't spill out when you are not using it. Not sure what that is called either, maybe "closable sifter" or something.

Yes, it is different feeling from other colors, I think it is because it uses dyes for color which are liquid, whereas the other colors use powdered pigments, so that makes them dryer feeling.
