Re: Hair care and skin care advice

Thank you all for the wonderful advice. I'll try the vinegar rinse. I have already used a full bottle of the Passionfruit conditioner without shampoo and my hair remained greasy after a few washes. By the way, what is the recommended frequency of washing with the conditioner? I also used it with reg...

Hair care and skin care advice

Hi, I'm about to place a bigger order and would like some advice on hair care products and skin care products. Having used the Coconut Argan and Cranberry Passion Fruit Cleansing Conditioners as well as the Restoring Protein Treatment all I can say is that they're fantastic products. However, using ...

Re: lighten my skin

I have a few age spots to lighten unfortunately, so I've tried the products Karen recommended when emailing with her. Super Serum works but you have to use it consistently. Karen also suggested exfoliating with the Microdermabrasion Cream/Gel (I have sensitive, thin skin, so I exfoliate only once a ...

Re: Making mineral powder sunscreen

I hiked over 3000 metres on Tenerife and went to the beach with nothing but the Ultra Sheer Zinc Powder on my face and I didn't get any sunburn, just a nice and even tan. If only it could be turned into a cream. :)

Re: UK girls

Hi Emily, I think you're best to ring HM Revenue and Customs, I was given a final amount to pay at the post office. When I lived in Belgium they always charged me for the full amount including shipping costs. I think the idea is that shipping is a service on which normally VAT is payable. But maybe ...

Re: UK girls

Hi Emily, Posted below is an excerpt from the webpage of HM Revenue and Customs. It's probably best to ask SN what is cheaper after their weighing of your order; having one package shipped and then paying VAT or having about three packages shipped and not paying VAT. I didn't know this (just moved f...

Re: Work Look

Re mascara, I don't know how the SN one is as it has parabene and I try to stay away from products with parabene but the reviews seem to be good. Having tested many natural/organic brands I wasn't really impressed with any of them (fallouts, smudging, bad applicators) until I tried a German drugstor...

Re: Spring!!!!

Thanks for asking, Karen! It would be great to see pale cool/warm/neutral toned yellow eyeshadows and complementing purples with them. And maybe a holographic eye shadow similar to Essence's Jazzed Up? http://www.essence.eu/products/eyes/eyeshadows/eyeshadow-mono.html (eyeshadow shows up if mouse is...

Re: Shadows that Pack a Punch?

What about Eco Tools bamboo 6 piece eye brush set? I have the six piece set from Ecotools and they seem/feel to be identical to some of Karen's brushes (Bamboo Blending Brush), even the bristles and the density, I like working with them except for the highlighting eye brush in the set. I have the U...

Re: Interesting article on wax

Hi Jen, Thank you for the fast reply. Sorry about the link, I didn't post it with the intent to promote their products (what I tried didn't work for me) but of course I understand why you edited it out. Nota bene for the future. :) What you wrote is a bit of an 'aha' moment and the article makes mor...
