Bamboo Pink (Clinique)

Post by royalgoddessbeth » Fri Jul 23, 2010 12:02 pm

I do remember wearing this lipstick about ten years ago and absolutely loving it. I have so few pinks I can really wear well and this one was one of them.
SN addict par excellence!
Favorite Blushes: Foxxy, Climax, Cider and Jamie
Favorite Lipstick: Negligee
Primer/Foundation/Finishing Powder: I'm a mad scientist!

I would join a 12 step program for my SN addiction, but 12 steps are for quitters!

It's a nice frosty brownish pink. I like it too but sometimes it's a little too frosty for me.

Bamboo Pink is still one of my all-time favorite lipsticks!!! I would LOVE to see a SN clone of it - GR8 suggestion!

Clinique describes Bamboo Pink as "the most popular silvery pearlized dusty pink." I agree that its silver pearl is very frosty.

The more swatches I see of this color on the internet, the more I really like it...

If the dupe for this could be made vegan, I'd be really happy. I'd also love a vegan dupe of Clinique's Berry Berry.

Clinique Berry Berry: Does its dupe need to be matte?

Clinique describes Berry Berry as "warm berry cream." (Finish: Soft Matte. Colour Group: Pinks.) Are you in love with how matte it is? In other words, if Karen were to dupe this color, would it be critical that the finish be matte like in the Clinique original?

I liked the matte, but a shinier finish (not overly sparkly - but a little ok) wouldn't be bad. Actually, something between Berry Berry and Bamboo Pink would be perfect for me. Hm...
