Hi - I'm not new to Silk Naturals but am new to your board.

Is there an expiration, or shelf life of the minerals / foundation / eye shadow?

Silly question: How do you open the cream eyeliner pot?!! I see the little tab on the side, is this squeezed to open?? Thanks!

Shelf life on minerals depends on how you use them. If you never touch a used brush to the container, they could theoretically last quite a long time, but I am not sure I would keep them much past 3 years. Foundations with silk might have a shorter life...maybe 1-2 years.

The cream liner pot has a center that flips out from the edge. Put a finger on the top of the container, and on the bottom, and use the tab to kind of flip out the center. Think of it as a sandwich that you are trying to twist the center out of it.

If you still can't get it, I will look for or take a pic...

Oh geesh, thanks Jen. Removable top was stuck in my head and I never thought of a swing-out center insert.
