Lippies as cream blushes - which ones have you tried?

Post by Charz » Sat Nov 30, 2013 5:03 pm

I've been using Clandestine as blush for a few weeks and I'm surprised at how well it works! I have to be careful not to blend out too much and end up with an "O" outline on my cheeks but otherwise its shimmerless cream finish works beautifully, and the milky peach shade is very natural. I want to try this with Operative next as it's another shade that has been sitting unused (it's too cool toned for my lips).

Which lippies have you tried as blushes and how successful were they?

I wore High Roller on Thanksgiving...Ali ran off with my palette, so I just used the lippie I was going to wear. It worked really well. The lipsticks are pigmented enough that you only need a little.

When I wear red lipstick, I use my finger to take a bit of color from my lips and dab onto my cheeks. It's just light enough to make me look alive but not clownish.
I also used the same method on other lippies as well, and it works fine unless the lippie is very sheer like damsel or seedy.
