Dupe of EDM's old Pearl Beige

I really hope it will be possible to dupe it. I never had the old pearl concealers, and you all make me feel like I missed out on something reaaaaally special!

Not sure how Karen is coming along with this dupe, but I read on the other forum that some ladies think that Angel glow is a good replacement for the old pearl beige. I've never used PB but Angel is the best glow product I've ever tried from anywhere.

Welcome! I'm happy to give it a try...generally if a company reformulates they have a pretty good reason- like the pigment was discontinued or something like that.

I can't make any guarantees, but sure- if you could pop a sample in the mail I'll give it a whirl. I'd need about 1/16 of a teaspoon- more if you can spare it. Our address is:

We were told the formula was changed because a lot of customers didn't like the 'tin man' look from Pearl Beige, but that's what made it special.

Yeah, user error= too bad for the rest of us it even makes an amazing eyeshadow.

Since I rarely heard complaints (actually, none that I really remember about the beige although I remember complaints about the 'sunshine' and mint being to shiny) I'm more inclined to think the formula was changed to cut costs. JMHO of course and worth what y'all paid for it. . I like mixing the pearls with other shadows from...wherever...that seem too matte as I dislike mattes. Champagne is wonderful but sometimes sparkle isn't what you're looking for.

I got SN Bone eye shadow which the beige is similar to EDM pearl beige but its totally matte

SN has since elected not to dupe any EDM products (this thread is from 2009), and I don't know of anything off hand from past posts that other customers thought was close.
