Thanks ladies! This has been a really helpful thread! I will try the red wine thing next time I get a cold sore. For now, I think the one I have has been kicked by lysine supplements. I've used garlic in the past and that helps too (though obviously it keeps away vampires and people).

BHA toner is already helping! Also working really hard at exfoliating daily whether it's the toner or the microderm cream (or both). Thanks for the great advice, ladies!! You guys could open a clinic.

My skin is really improving since I started with the BHA toner. I'm most impressed!
