Yes Men and furbabies are funny, but what would we do without them?

Here are my zoo photos. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats.


This is Squeak our oldest cat, he named himself. He is helping my husband on a work from home day.




The blond dog is Bonnie and the Black is Clyde. They were sisters and litter mates, sadly Clyde developed a tumour in her brain and we had to put her down about 2 years ago. Bonnie is 17 now. For perspective Clyde weighed in at 120 pounds.

And that dog blanket was once white but PEI mud stains everything it touches that color and it will not wash out!



Our kittens, about 11 months now and brothers Heckle and Jeckle.




Jada (black) our puppy, she will be 2 in January, we got her at the humane society and Bailey she is about 3 and was only supposed to be foster dog for us. Each year my Aunt dose a benefit for the PEI Humane Society called Dog Daze, we do contests with the dogs like longest ears, shortest tails and so on. As this is the 100th anniversary of the publishing of Lucy Maud’s Anne Of Green Gables we did that as a theme. So my dogs went as Gilbert Blyth and Prissy, Gilbert won first place. My DH is horrified that I dressed up our dogs.

mgmsrk ~ LOVE the furbabies! You *do* have a wonderful furfamily! Tell your hubby that the dogs "dressed" for charity, after all! Beautiful babies, all of them ~ & Heckle & Jeckle are just too danged cute snuggled up together. *Thank you* for sharing them & their stories! Enjoyed it!

Love seeing all your precious fur pals and hearing the rescue stories. My guys were left behind when their owner moved in with someone who had an allergy. Bad choice IMO, but I'm glad they're with us now!

Here are my friends Spike and Fuma - they're littermates and despite the funny pose, they both have all their legs, lol. They're like twins and have been together all their lives.

My furbaby. She's a bit bigger than that now but she looks exactly the same as she did as a puppy.

She's from a rescue shelter/farm in Missouri(i drove 4 hours each way to get her after seeing her on next day pets- and for your reference, Highway Y has a cornfield in the middle of it). I got her when she was 8 weeks old and now she's 2 and a spoiled little princess. I do not know what she is. I have a lot of guesses as to bits of what she COULD be(jack russell, beagle, carolina dog) but I don't believe she's what they told me (Spitz/American Eskimo and Cocker Spaniel). For now I call her a spitz mix. She's one powerful little chewer, too smart for her own good, and she gets to sleep with ME. She likes to go under the covers. She just got attacked by a swarm of bees today and her ears are all puffy!!! Yes, my little pumpkin's name is Honey (tehe mikie!)

Oh my goodness, Sam! Honey looks sooooooo comfy! Makes you want to crawl back in under the covers!
