I'll have a try with the blushes!I don't know if there's supposed to be a consistent theme for the blushes, so I just named them as I liked.

Mac Dame- Shy Flush
Mac Pleasantry- La Viva
BB Desert Rose- Cinnamon
BB Mauve- Adobe
Nars Dolce Vita- Sunny Day

Is the order of the blushes and shadows the same in the picture as the order you have the names listed? For instance--are the blushes left to right (Dame, Pleasantry, Desert Rose, Mauve, Dolce Vita)? How about the shadows--do we read the three across the top as Nude Beach Metallic, Nude Mist Shimmerwash, and Naked and the three across the bottom as Nude Glow shimmerwash, Nude Spice, and Mica (with the dark one on the end being Basalt)? What order are they in the BB pallate (they just don't seem to be in the same order)?
Thanks :) Sorry I'm slow.

Hi,
I usually liked the play on the original names of the clones that ideally also connects them and/or gives an idea of the color family. So, here is a try on the BB blushes:

BB Desert Rose : a) Love potion ; b) Rosette; c) Celestine

a) Desert Rose is a name not only of a real but also a mythological type of plant. The mythological variety was supposed to act as a love potion if you fed the petals to the object of your desire.

b) Desert rose is the colloquial name given to rosette formations of the minerals gypsum and barite.

c) Desert Rose gypsum is often associated with Celestine (another gypsum type). Though this would rather be a pretty name for a bluish eye shadow, as it has a blueish hue rather than pink.

BB Mauve: a) Mallow, b) Malva (botanical name of the flower)

i really like the idea of sticking with "spicy" names for this collection. i'm not sure which name corresponds with which photo, and also my monitor is sometimes off, so Karen might need to rearrange the names since she's the one seeing the colors in person--but here's my suggestions:

Nude Beach: Golden Sugar
Nude Mist: White Pepper
Naked: Nutmeg
Nude Glow: Ginger
Nude Spice: Anise
Mica: Cardamom

We're all in trouble- but we're going to look good! I couldn't pass up Dolce Vita because I *think* it will be fantastic on you Mikie.

I think I have all the names set- I like to sleep on them before I print the labels- but I'll announce them hopefully either tomorrow or Monday! Thank you all so much for sending names. Next time we'll do it with a bit more notice and a few more pics!

Mmh, apparently I am too late. Anyway, I thought a 'beach theme' could be fitting to shimmering nudes:

Sunset Beach
Waikiki Beach
Bondi Beach
Daytona Beach
South Beach
Laguna Beach

Also shimmering dunes kept popping up in my head but there are not enough with appealing names.

Can't wait for everything popping up on the web page to order!

Ok I have to ask because I just can’t tell. Was the new blush Lady named with inspiration from my suggestion?
