I think the issue here is sheer. Back in winter I layered Provoke and Seedy but not sure in what order and got this gorgeous plum but as far as I remember it wasn't really sheer. It also worked mixing Black Dahlia in for a deeper colour but I used the back of my hand in that case.
I forgot to add, Asset and Seedy also look beautiful mixed together.
