hi ladies! thank you sooo very much for all of the uplifting words. you all have no idea how much its helped. thanks so much for explaining hyperplasia cells. its a big scary word! you all have big hugs and kisses from myself and myles. I will post a pic of his hospital visit last year. the nurse who started his iv told him she was going to make him his very on web shooter...thats the ONLY way he would calm down with a needle in the room. he was so proud of his "web shooter". he's so funny. I will keep you guys posted. thanks for all the prayers and well wishes.


Ps- sorry the pics are soooo big abd grainy they were taken with my cell phone but too cut to pass up. He actually ate the popsicle in his sleep in the recovery room....he took it under the sheets with him, it was so funny. He was groggy but he will NEVER pass up a popsicle(poskicle as he calls it)!

Dear Nikki...Our kids are our hearts...aren't they???? MY family and I are sending prayers and good wishes and good karma and everything to you and your children. I know that you feel overwhelmed right now.....don't forget in the midst of all of this, you still need to take care of YOU......try if you can to take an hour or so purely for yourself, even if it means letting a friend or family member help you out a bit. It doesn't make you weak, it just makes you smart.

Nikki, You & Myles were on my mind & in my prayers today. How'd things go w/the colonoscopy? Understand, I don't mean to pry. Just tell us if you feel like sharing or need some shoulders,OK?

Thank you for your warm wishes thoughts and prayers. Myles was a real trooper. He got to pick a flavor of bubbles(gas) and of course grape and bubblegum were his final picks. Just like his mommy never can settle on just 1. They would not let me back with him which broke my heart but he headed of to "tell that doctor he was not sick". So cute. He had a bad reaction to the anesthesia so he was in full panic mode in recovery room. They had to give him another dose of morphine. I did what any mother would do, I climbed right in that small recovery bed with my baby and held him until he calmed down. um yes it did take 2 nurses to wheel us both back to our room but hey I wasn't leaving my baby. we are home today all of the sleepy meds are out of his system now. The tube they put down his throat scratched him so he sounds like a little froggy. His face was swollen from all the meds I called him my little chipmunk...he said he wanted to be theadore...works 4 me. Dad didn't show as he promised he wouldn't. I came home just 4 a minute last night to get a breather, and my order from SN was waiting. I tore into it. Sweetheart Karen included a get well card signed by her and her staff for Myles and also sent me a little hope of my own... a new shadow called Hope. So yes after being up 14 hours straight and really showing it I slathered on my Vintage gloss and Hope shadow b4 returning to the hospital 2 climb back in that tiny bed with my baby looking a bit more like a hotmama than I did b4! Thank u ladies for letting me share my ordeal. Luv ya, nikki

Nikki, I'm tearing up right now at your humor and bravery through what has got to be a Mom's worst nightmare! My kids are 6 and 9 and as much as I complain sometimes about how they wear me out...thank goodness they are well and healthy. Bless Karen for giving you a little Hope....what a classy thing to do. Please be assured that you and Myles and your family are continually in my thoughts and prayers!

Take care of yourself and enjoy those new colors, your bound to look great in them, and you definately deserve the chance to play with new makeup and look great.

Hang in there. The gals here have great advice. Make sure you find a way to take good care of yourself. If you are well, you can be sronger for your crew. I admire your strength and ability to keep moving forward. Even though you might not feel strong, you are. Give Myles a big hug for us!
