But I would like a gel so I can put it right on top of the nasty thing, instead of a toner. Maybe there's way you could do both if is not too much trouble. One spot treatment toner packaged like your other toner stuff and then have little spot gel thingy as well. I have a tea tree gel tube with a wand just like what the liquid lip glosses has.
Would that be possible? A little spot gel thingy packaged like the liquid lip glosses so it could fit into a bag/purse so you can apply through the day?????
Yes please & yes please again

I also have the obligatory tea tree gloop in a tube with a wand (Body Shop by any chance, Ghost?!) for right on the spot treatment once a 'blemish' (oooh sounds sooo ladylike!!!) appears; but I know that I get a regular monthly breakout on my chin without fail

so some sort of preventative toner would be great.

Yes, please!
I am still struggling with really nasty cystic type zits from heavy sunscreen use during a vacation two months ago. Anything that calms down those monsters would make me so happy.

That's where I get two zits that keep coming back, and it's tricky to put anything there - though if it was in toner form, I could put it on a cotton ball and do it that way.
I suggest for bacne BHA toner. It is much easier if it is in a spray bottle. I have purchased liquid BHA from "another source" with her sprayer and it works well. Karen's is much more affordable and I think it works just as well (maybe better, I can't say yet long term.)

Would you prefer a gel/serum type thing or a liquid? I'm thinking about niacinamide...at 4% it's as effective as topical antibiotics for acne. Technically at that concentration it's prescription, but 3.99% isn't

It's a little "crusty"- so I'm thinking just something like a toner. I also worry that serum, on top of serum, on top of serum would get a little thick feeling after a while.
Does that sound okay, or would you prefer a gel for spot treatments?
I would love a spot treatment! The niacinamide would be a great ingredient as far as reducing redness and healing.

Tried and tested - Tea tree oil. I use the Dessert Essence Blemish stick with Tea Tree Oil and it kills the cystic acne over a few days. It works better than Benzoyl Peroxide, no flaky dry skin.

No, no it's superdrugs own make. My skin doesn't like body shop much and their products don't do what it says it should do. My experience has been all flash, no substance. I know the body shop was/is the pioneers for not testing on animals, fair trading and natural ingrediants (how much of it is natural anyway??) but I don't think much of their products

I used to LOVE the apricot lip balm from there many many years ago- I mean love it. I do kinda feel like their products and my body simply aren't on the same wavelength- but a good company from a lot of different stand-points.
I'm working on it! Right at the moment I'm waiting on a shipment of stuff- niacinamide is really good, adding MSM to it made it better- but I'm out of msm (and pimples to test it on), so it will be a few more days.

I know what you mean! Loved their stuff when I was 15 (20 years ago!!!!!) and my blemish wand thingy was an emergency spot related purchase when passing...... wouldn't have thought of stopping in there at all but this scored well in the Green Beauty Bible so thought I'd give it a try. Will give the Superdrug one a bash next though. Thanks for the recommendation.
