Hi!
I just received my Perfect Harmony Sample Kit.
Please help me finding the right shade.
I’m between MAC NC20-NC25. If you have some recipe suggestions, it would be great.

Try Buttery Gold at 1 scoop color to about 8 or 9 white. Olive would be my next pick at 1 scoop color to about 12 to 14 white.

I used to use EDMs neutral line of foundations (fairly light neutral, perfect, etc). I have heard good things about Silk Naturals and I am pretty excited to be able to customize my foundation. I would love a little help finding the right starting mix. I don't think I have one great picture that shows my skin tone because of different lighting and tanning, etc. I figured it would be best to post several photos that show my skin in different lighting. My skin looks yellow next to my husband who has very red tones, but yellow/orange foundations make me look sick. My skin tone has always been hard to match with foundation. It is a mix of slightly olive, yellow, brown, peach...
Thanks in advance for your help!!

This is probably the only bare faced picture that I have. It was after months of bed rest so I have no tan at all

hannahbanana-

I think Olive. 1:12-14. Your coloring is very similar to mine.

Thank you Jen! I love that you give this individualized help. It makes the idea of mixing my own foundation a lot less intimidating. I just placed my first order. I can't wait to try it out.

Hi. I've been wearing Silk Naturals for a while, but still haven't really found the right mix.

Here's what I'm working with (my neck and face are quite different colours, and I'v got a lot to coverup!):

(Sorry about the massive photos!)

I've been wearing a mix of 1 ebony, 1 buttery gold, 0.5 green corrector (has this been discontinued?) and 25 heavy! This is what it looks like:

It's okay, but not quite right. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Chausie-

It looks like it needs a little yellow. I am thinking Yellow Booster......because adding more Buttery Gold will add too much more in the way of brown. I think about 2 to 3 scoops at that volume. What you have is very close, though.

Boosters and refills are here.
