Hi all

First let me just say congrats to everyone, keep it up and adding spice to life if always fun (especially when it's something new from SN :D )

Okay I got weighed last week and please keep in mind that I've had a week's holiday, I gained 2lbs - not bad me thinks, but I know I can do better :D

I'm finding it hard again so I might try a new method. I'm going to write down everything I eat, I know that sounds weird, but when I've done it before I've had to be brutally honest and it does work.

Beware of traveling! Oh boy, my mom fed me a feast for a week, I was eating cake for breakfast! Yes, I know that you can still watch your intake while traveling, but do you want to? I sure didn't, hehe, and came home with 6lbs extra after three weeks. Oh well, I do think it was worth it, and I'll just watch it a bit more now that I'm back. And I would do it again, without hesitation. Mom's cooking/baking is the best!
Oh yeah, I did have a bit of help before I left: stomach flu makes for the best bikini body :(

I'm loving two supplements: Relora and green tea pills.

I'm also trying to do yoga most mornings. Eventually I want to make it to the weight room... but it might be a bit.

Oh yes, it does work. I used a cool app on my iphone to enter everything I eat to make sure I stay under my calorie budget. Watching my intake and walking a lot helped me lose the weight I wanted to lose, even if there were some holdups during the process. I would use that method again - I may need to as the travel 'padding' needs to come off soon :)

For reference, the iphone app I used is called Lose it!

Good luck!

Hi guy

I'm soooo chuffed with myself today, I got weighed and I've lost in 3 weeks 3.1kg, which is 6.8lb, which is nearly half a stone :D :D :D :D

Me and the nurse (wendy - I love her she's great) did a calulation and in 1 year and 10 months I've lost 40kg, which is 88lb, which is 6.4 stone. I hope this will gives other hope and that little extra boost cause if little, lazy me who 2 years ago won't even know what exercising or dieing was (just kidding) can do it then there's hope for anyone.

I must admit I forgot to write what I was eating down but for the last week I gave up bread (except Friday lunch) and it seems to have made an impact

Keep up the good work all :D

ghost that is SO awesome--what a feat!
6 yrs ago, after losing about 35 lbs (16 kg), i was down to a healthy weight, but unfortunately i have gained it all back and more. 2 days ago i rededicated myself to losing again--and this time, to never gain it back.
after all your hard work, keep your healthy habits going for a lifetime, so you can always enjoy the hard-earned fruits of your labors!
writing down what i eat and regular exercise (and drinking lots of water) helps me stay on track too.

Wow!!!!!! Congratulations!!! Just wow. Do you know that you've managed to not eat/and/or burn 308,000 calories this year??? That's 846 calories a day!!! You're truly inspirational, and I'm just awed to be in your presence.

When are you writing your best selling diet book??? Seriously- the world needs to know what you're doing to produce these results- it's just remarkable.

Good job! That's awesome.

Good luck to everyone as we move into the autumn/spring (depending on your hemisphere). The change of seasons is hard for me when it comes to diet and exercise... I'm guessing it is for others, too. Not to mention that's the best time to get sick... be sure to take your vitamin D!
