So glad to hear that the nasty stuff has been ruled out. I must say, it sounds like they are onto something with the previous bathroom issues. Myles is a smart boy to have realized a way he could control his bathroom issues himself. I hope he will get stronger everyday!

This is just something that crossed my mind. My DD had bathroom issues when she was younger (and it totally affected her potty training). She would just put off going until it got bad. Sometimes for a week. We rarely have issues with frequency these days, but I really think she might have issues with digesting dairy. It might be worth paying attention to what foods might cause more of a problem than others.

What a huge relief! Your doctor's opinion makes entire sense. Myles was in pain from constipation and learned very early that he could control that. I can't believe I'm asking this on a "makeup forum," but let us know how things "go" (tee, hee). Big hug to you, Myles, and the gang. Lauren

Hi gals, I'm new here and just looking around. I am in tears reading all this and I must say I am so proud of Nikki for being a wonderful strong mom -and dad- to her beautiful children. My little one is 2 and also has terrible constipation issues. Not as bad as Myles though. Because it hurts her to go, she holds it in and it just gets more compact. When she can't hold it anymore and finally pushes it out it hurts her so bad. It is a terrible cycle we need to break. She is indeed my heart and it kills me to see her in pain. The doctor finally gave me some advice other than give her prune juice (which she hates!) so hopefully the metamucil fiber and mineral oil will work. Best of luck!! Allison

So glad the news was good news. Hopefully now he will continue to eat more and continue to "go". He and his sister are very luck to have you as a mom.

I’m glad to hear that the news was good. Hopefully it is just that he has not been eating as much as he should have. He should catch up in the growth charts soon.
