I wanted to give a litle report on my results with the eyelash gel.
Well...first of all, Ihave to say, for the first 2 weeks I think I used it a little improperly...I never did learn to read directions.......she says red-faced.....
I was actually putting the gel on the eyelashes themselves instead of the base of the lashline.
That said, problem corrected, and I *think* I am seeing a bit of growth. My normal lashes are of normal length, thickness, and density. They appear shorter than that since the tips are blonde.
It does appear to me that they are a bit longer and flutterier, but still blonde at the tips. I use a very va-va-voomy mascara, so they *DO* have that sorta fake look, but since I wear glasses, I'm ok with that.
I am interested in seeing what more growth I might get.
I'll keep ya posted.

I wonder if Karen will issue one version for hair? Something like a leave in conditioner for scalp.

Maybe we could try energy drink on our scalp?

Or massage our scalps with coffee grounds!

I've been using it on my eyebrows and I'm impressed with it. I've got awkward eyebrows - there are probably ten near invisible white hairs for every one hair with a dark brown colour. Up close, they look fluffy but from a distance, they look sparse and over-plucked. If I use brow powder, it catches on all the very fair hairs and instantly looks many times thicker and bushier, like two caterpillars!

I've been using the Gel to see if I can thicken the hairs that are there so the overall effect won't need make-up added to it. So far, so good. It is making them stronger - no fall-outs. I also see more regrowth of the finest dark hairs which usually lose their colour and fade - they're staying coloured. That's a good start.

Oh how cool! I wanted to use the gel for my eyebrows too... Mine are very thin and sparse, I have to draw them on with brow powder every day, especially the outer half/third. So I bought the eyelash gel...and then realized it has oatmeal extract in it...and I'm gluten intolerant, so unless oats are certified gluten free, I can't touch them!
Ah well...at least the gel seems to be working for your brows! I'd love to see an update from you in another month about if those dark baby hairs become dark adult ones!

Hi all, I'm resurrecting this thread with a question about the eyelash gel.
Is there supposed to be a smell to it? Or is it odourless? Can you please take a sniff and try to describe it to me?
I don't know if I should be concerned that there's a smell to mine; not sure if the oils have gone rancid or if it's normal. Usually I will just continue using it but because of the close proximity to my eyes, I'm slightly paranoid.
Thanks!

It should be good for at least 6 months from when you got it. Pretty much all of the skin care has a bit of an odor, but if it smells truly funky send me a PM. The only thing that really can go off in it is the oils, but they all have extremely long shelf lives.

I don't know how to describe it.. it smells like motor oil?
I'm hoping someone will chime in with a description so that I can read it and go "Yep that's it!". I'm really bad at describing stuff lol

My Eyelash Gel was ordered early June 2010 and has been stored in my MMU drawer in my room (non-airconditioned). Just took a whiff of it again but I don't smell anything in particular, not even the oils.
