Another newbie here. I just ordered my first Perfect Harmony Foundation Sample Kit and I need all the help I can get. Not just with the foundation, but with everything! So, this is me in daylight sans make up:

I am new to Silk Naturals, so i do not know exactly what colour suits best. I was just wondering if you can help me with a foundation colour based on this photo that I’ve uploaded. Your help would be so much appreciated!

I think Olive or Warm gold.....Olive -- 1 scoop color to 11 white.....Warm Gold -- 1 scoop color to 8 white.

Foundation: Start with Ebony 1:9 or 10
Blush: Flirt or Climax
Brows: Light Ash or Medium Ash....we do have samples of these
Lips: Maiden or Cultured
Eyes: This one is kind of har to narrow down....Sandy and Rizzo are a pretty simple place to start.

I just received my perfect harmony kit and I really want to get this right. Every color by every brand I try is either too green, too orange , too chalky or too pink. I have no luck with foundation. Please help!

Hi Mona,

I think I would start with a 1 scoop Buttery Gold and 4 or 5 scoops white.....if it is too yellow, we will probably need to go more with the Olive base (at 1:8-9). I think Warm Gold will likely be too orangish for your skintone.

I just added more white and it's perfect !

Have you an idea why it could look a little "powdery - creamy" on my T-zone ?
(not sure how to describe that : it's like if the powder doesn't want to blend completely with my skin.)
I don't think I use too much powder (I made that mistake before and so pay attention to that now)
but I didn't use a primer it's maybe for that... or I'm too perfectionist.

Nevertheless I already love that foundation
