Lol, it is not the most poetic description, but I think it gets the point across! I am a caffeine junkie and don't get nearly enough time to kiss my dh so anything that gives that effect is great!
I have been trying smooth and full (I got it in a swap at the same time as devils food cake, which is so yummy I have been neglecting the smooth and full), and I think it does have some plumping effect, but not as much as stockholm. I wonder if that is just in my head, or whether there is maybe a different concentration of the plumping ingredient?

Could be! Or maybe the new base helps increase the effect.

I wish now I had bought Barcelona, I'd be able to compare it now lol ... but if Karen makes another plumping butter cream I will definitely give it a try! Just out of curiosity :)

Hi Karen,
I got new gumball lippies last Wednesday.
I'm surprised and happy to know new Liquid Glosses and Butter Cream Lippies were released as regular item already. It's faster than I expected.
Anyway, Here's my thought about gumballs.

Barcelona Butter Cream Plumping Gloss
In testing I had been wearing it for one day and night without lip balm, plumping effect was not so notable in the daytime, but overnight into the following morning I noticed my lips smooth and full, it conditioned my lips well.
The texture is creamy and silky, moisturizing power is so good.
As a lipgloss it makes my lip naturally slick and shiny, not too glistening, staying power is good, it lasts at least for 4-5 hours on my lips.
I think it's OK you will release only clear plumper as you mentioned on the site, I hope a clear plumper will be packaged in 0.15 oz full size tube because I want to use this as lip treatment.
Barcelona color is nice, beautiful coral red on my lip. But I hope a bit more opaque.
I'm sorry that I can't compare it to Butter Cream Gloss formula because I didn't purchase Stockholm (I thought it too cool for me reading the site description, but watching some swatches it may be OK. I should have grabbed it).

St. Tropez Liquid Lip Gloss
This is my first liquid gloss from SN.
I always don't like liquid glosses so much because some of them are greasy and colors run out over lip, but I love this one.
In testing I wore this without lip balm.
The texture is soft and creamy, thick enough, not greasy, moisturizing power is good.
It makes my lips naturally slick and shiny like polished, not too glistening, staying power is good even though it's liquid. It lasts for 2-3 hours on my lips, color doesn't run out over lip.
St. Tropez color is lovely, nice nude pink, but it's a bit sheerer than I hope. I'll use this with some opaque lippies.
I want to try other colors in this formula.

Tahitian Vanilla Lip Balm
I love this texture.
Compared to older lip balm, it's a little harder and waxer, but creamy enough. Once it's put on lips, stays longer and my lips feel "protected". I love this thickness.
Vanilla scent is not too strong and I feel good.
I prefer it to older one.

Thank you for your fantastic stuffs!
Have a nice summer vacation :D

superwahz wrote: The butter cream formula doesn't last very long on my lips either (neither do the Kisser Slickers though), and it seems to cling to the surface more than the Kisser Slickers, but I don't mind that since I use glosses for the more slick feel.

Have you tried layering the Tahitian Vanilla lip balm under the butter cream formulas? I ask because I've noticed I have to moisturize my lips before wearing any of the lippie formulas other than the wand glosses, because they settle into my lip lines and feel a bit odd. I think that's because my lips tend to be a bit dry (I'm bad and forget to moisturize and exfoliate them daily). Once I layer a lip balm underneath and let it soak in a bit, the lip colors go on smoother and look better. I still have to reapply though! :P

Oh, and BTW, love you new profile pic! You have such a knock-out smile! :D
thanks superwahz! i will have to try the layering and see how it goes. thanks for the tip :)

I've been reading and following the gumball thread for the last 2 - 3 weeks while waiting for my package to arrive. Another SN order I placed 1 week after the gumball order was received in 1 week. But not the gumball package :(
I was on the verge of placing an order for St Tropez last night while sulking quietly over my "lost" package, until something turned up this morning.

It apparently went on a European sojourn to Romania, Bucharest, before arriving in Singapore.
Lucky gumball package ;)
(The last time another MMU package from the US actually dropped by Japan, Osaka, before arriving in Singapore too)

lol those lippies have been to countries I've not been to. Lucky them.

Definitely well worth the wait. Especially St Tropez. I also had XXX (love love love!) and the eyelash gel in the gumball order as well.

On St Tropez: Like most of the other ladies here, this is my absolute favourite among the three colours. I like the texture and how it's non-drippy and non-sticky. Didn't notice any perceptible sweetness or smell. I wish it'd be slightly more opaque though.

Barcelona & Stockholm Lip butter creams: Hmm, I can't say I like these formulas that much. I still prefer the Kisser Slicker & vegan lip glosses for some reason. Maybe because they "wow" me more. I'm sitting on the fence on this formula. Colour-wise Stockholm is very sheer on my lips and I do like it so. Barcelona has a bit of colour to it, not dark at all.

Tahitian Vanilla Organic Lip Lube: I can see why this would be great for guys. No perceptible vanilla smell as well (or else my scent of smell has gone off!). I still prefer my Hot Chocolate Lip Lube to this because of the "gloss" which makes it seem more moisturising to me, as it's also softer in the tube than the organic lip lube. But I still love my Devil's Food Cake Black Label most of all :P
