Hi, I ordered a sample of the all purpose foundation I'm not sure where to start. I'm about a NC20 in mac and a fairly light in bare minerals.

I can't read enough from the pictures to tell if one would be better than the other. I am slightly leaning Ebony, though. It could also be that when you are not tan, Ebony is best, but when you do get some sun, Olive will match better.

What formula did you purchase? I would start with one scoop Ebony to about 7+ white.

You are most likely an Olive. I would start with 1 scoop color to around 12 or more white.

I would try any of them and consider adding Blur as a finisher. Probably Original and Medium Coverage are the best choices if you don't want to add a step. They both balance ease of matching with just a bit of oil control.

If I am in between the #2 and #3 in the cream concealer, what shade would I be in the golden cream foundation?

Also, is the foundation more or less yellow than the concealer? I need a yellow-based foundation and the concealer is just about the right shade.

Thanks :-)

Hi, I'm going to order the original, vegan, and medium coverage intro samples to test out the oil control and coverage of the different formulas. What recipe do you recommend for me? I'm Filipino so I have yellow undertones and I've tanned a lot this summer. The picture I took was in direct sunlight. Also, what cream foundation colors do you think would match my skintone? Thank you for your help!

JewelsMax-

I think you will fall in Buttery Gold. I am guessing it will be 1 scoop color to about 5-6 white. (5 for Medium Coverage, more like 6 for Original, vegan runs about the same as Original). Also, you will fall in the Golden range of the cream foundations, probably 40, 50, or 60. The cream foundation tends not to work as well for those with oilier skin. Powder foundation does wonders for skin on the oily side, though.

Actually, I just did some arm swatching.....N30 is about the same as #2 concealer. Of course it is a little more sheer. The Golden shades run just a little yellower than the cream concealer, but if that will work for you, try G30 and G40.

Thank you! I ordered some samples and was right in between G20 and G30. I also found the concealer to be warmer (pinker) than the foundation.
