i havé brown skin too, a few shades lighter though, and not as warm . I really think you must havé a gréât amount of peach in your skin, more than gold, and of course olive. Ebony is a cool, bluish Brown, olive is theclosestbrown.
Hi Shirin,

I can see why olive was recommended to me by Jen - I've become a lot more aware of my skintone now! My perfect harmony kit should arrive in a few days so I'm planning to try 1:1:1 peach olive and ivory and then go no from there.

Thanks for your help! What shade do you wear? :)

Oh I'll go look for you ;) :D

Did you manage to find a highlighter that suits you? I read the thread but I haven't tried SN e/s yet so couldn't really help!

Am I missing something? I have tried every base of SN fdt and somehow, it's always "off"- too dull or turns orange. The closest I've gotten was a mix of everything + Lavender color corrector, and a mix of ebony and olive in the new fdt formula.
In meow I fall somewhere between sphinx and korat, in dreamworld i wore hecate (though it is currently too dark for me), and most often i wear a blend of terra firma samples (equal parts golden marble, light amber, and warm honey). My skin is mostly light neutral with a definite warm slant and a touch of olive. I'm just sick of trying to figure it out, so if someone can tell me what I'm missing, I'd be grateful.

Aww, I hope Jen or one of the more SN experienced people can help you out! I know how annoying ti can be not to find a foundation match - so all the best and hugs :)

Sam...have you ever tried Olive with Yellow Booster?

I don't see much on the way of pink or warm....but I definitely see yellow.

Hi, I'm back again. My mom is interested in silk naturals, do you have any suggestions for her color mix? She wants the medium coverage ivory base as well...

*poof*
Thank you!

Hello!

I'm brand new here, hoping someone can help me find a match.

I'm 50/50 EDM Sandy Fair and Fairly Light in Matte. I think Sandy fair is the right depth but a touch too pink, FL is a tiny bit dark and gold..

I love the texture of EDM matte.

Does that make sense?

I'm in the UK so I'm nervous about ordering a small quantity and having to re order.

Thanks for your help!

Since you are on the fair side of things, you should not need to reorder color base beyond the samples once you figure out what is right. You would only need more white base for around 6 months. Your coloring can fall into Warm Gold or Olive. A close Warm Gold ratio will be about 1:10....a close Olive ratio will be 1:15. (the 1 is color base, the larger numbers are white) For your white, you might want to look at the All Purpose Base in white if you liked matte. I do think the Original would be a good choice, too.
