As far as I know, the lipsticks and demigloss are being reformulated, so they will not be exactly the same. I know there will be similar colors to the discontinued ones in the line eventually. I don't really know when the new formulation will be available. Hopefully in the next few months.

Thanks for that info! I have a cart load of glosses on hold till I get my first package containing Aria.... hope it will look good on my olive medium skin tone!

Huzzah! I love the reformulated lipglosses. They feel plumper, smoother, and lighter. Plus they don't sink into my lip lines as easily. =D Go Karen, go!

Kahani, which ones are the reformulated ones?

As things stand right now, there are not any reformulations of the lip gloss. She is working on a lipstick formula that is the best of both the demilgloss and lipstick. She is hoping to just add one creamier, slightly glossier lipstick formula rather than the two products of the demigloss and discontinued lipstick. I think she has done a few trial runs of the new lipstick formula and probably sent out a few testers.
Right now, her main focus is filling out the skincare line. Formulating for skincare is much more involved. I thought the last lipstick tester was pretty nice, but Karen thinks it can be better. She is the expert, and sometimes the best ideas come after allowing things to process in your head for a while. Formulating is really like that......a process.
Still, all of what I just told you can change in a moment, and there is not any type of time frame set for this. It will be available when Karen is happy with the formula.

I was just thinking today how nice it would be if the lipstick formula were as smooth as the gloss - it wouldn't have to be matte IMO - but really really pigmented for good, solid color coverage. I can wait until it's just right

And then I want a nude, a pink, a coral...... ooooh and limited edition vampire black.... which would really be just the deepest creepiest dark purple wine color instead. Although real black would be fantastic too. What I really wanna see is like the nail polish Lincoln Park After Dark from OPI. Like maybe for release just before Halloween and/or the Twilight movie New Moon. (Am I the only one that wants that? Probably.)

I used to wear a very very dark earthworm brown back when grunge was in. Not my best look, but I had fun with it. Black at least for Halloween sounds fun. I've always wanted to do a blue one too...mainly because pretty much every straight guy who's ever come into the shop asks if we make a blue lippie. I don't know what their obsession is, but they always ask.
I've been kind of plodding along with it...about once a week I pull it out and try again. Skincare is tough- but as odd as it sounds, I really struggle with lippie formulas- and tweak them obsessively for months. I'll buckle down and nail it one of these days, and I'll go on a pink binge- new lippies, new cream blushes etc. Right now I'm trying to sort-out all of the skin care ideas...before my formulating was pretty much limited to faces, but now that I have entire bodies to think about there are just so many neat things to try, make, and do!

Zeebs-
(My New Moon obsession is a secret. Shhhhhh.

Yes, we need a good creepy color for Halloween. And a..... what movie was it that you mentioned....that is coming out Nov. 20? I must have missed that.
