Black Version of Sparkle

In the color questions list, lipstick queen "Medieval" sheer lipstick came up (which i am also intensely lemming i might add) and prompted me to look at the lipstick queen line. They have a lipstick called "Black Tie Optional" which is essentially a black version of sparkle- where sparkle lightens lipsticks, black tie optional darkens them. On it's own, it's greyish and just kind of cools down and darkens your pucker, but layered, it adds new dimension to any lip color. Must...have...this...
I own like 3-4 tubes of sparkle, i NEED the twilight/anti-sparkle/tarnish version of sparkle. pretty pretty please

Ooh, if you are going to do this, you should make it come out on Oct 31 so we can all wear it to the Twilight premiere on 11/20!

We do need something black...I was playing with the Lip Tars again, and yes- we need black. Medieval looks good too...sorta along the lines of something like Damsel- but not as hot pink. I've always wanted to do a blue and a green too- no clue why, it just appeals to me. I need to buy more storage bins. I'm on a major lippie kick at the moment.

I've heard of Black Tie but never tried it, I like the sound of it though. However I have tried Medieval and really liked it (nice colour and moisture) but it's too pricey in the UK, so I'd love a Silk Naturals version (maybe black label?)

I found this on a blog and I'm convinced that if karen clones black tie I would use it over another colour (or on it's own for halloween)

I would love that for
Halloween too but could it be Vegan or kiss slicker formula?
Thanks for listening!

I was at Sephora last night and Kat Von D has a black glitter lipgloss. I tried it on over what I was wearing and it very subtly darkened and glossed up the nude lipstick I was wearing.
I think a black lippie is a splendid idea!

I'm leaning towards the Vegan line...I like the formula, and there's not reason why it couldn't be. I'd really like to expand that line quite a bit. But my other thought was the liquid gloss for layering...

Soooo...I've been pondering this whole black lippie thing, and I'm torn. I tried just a sheer, straight black- not bad, an interesting novelty, and if you're into layering it might be a good thing to have. BUT I couldn't help myself and added some gold shimmer to it- and made sort of the "anti-gold blush". It's actually "a color" something you could wear by itself...sort of a nude.
Do you want just a straight black or do you want more of a stand-alone wearable nudish black?
