Hi Karen,
I would be totally keen for a flat ended eyeliner brush, the kind you use to push liner between your lashes to create the illusion of fuller lashes. Oh, and anything in the new eye brush line, lol, esp. if it is not too expensive, as I love the idea of the ultimate brushes, but can't really justify the expense

The Ultimate eye shadow brush is double ended with one end being exactly that kind of liner brush that you describe. It's a little thicker than the original Smashbox cream eyeliner brush, but just as firm. The other end is shaped like a doe-foot and round. I'm in the tiny minority when I say I never got to grips with the round end, but I use the liner end daily and more than any other brush.

I'm in love with both ends of that brush! It is by far the best brush I have ever bought. That being said, I have never spent a lot of money on brushes, so there may be better out there, but it works really well for me! I don't get the shadow fall out like with other brushes I have used and I love the liner end because the bristles are nice and firm and it is thin, so you can get a nice thin line right at your lash line.

Right there with you Lily! I'd lurvve to have Laura Mercier's flat eye liner brush but can't bring myself to drop the cash.

The liner end of the ultimate eye shadow brush is angled instead of flat like a rectangle. Flat all the way across allows for wiggling to get liner right at the base of the lashes. Not sure that angled would give the same control & evenness.
Have to admit I have gotten an art brush at Michael's or Hobby Lobby - synthetic bristles & same shape to try & replicate this brush. However, the handle is too long to work easily. As I'm incredibly near sighted I have to be right next to the mirror & the handle gets in the way.

Of course the SN ultimate e/s brush is a great affordable option if you like an angled brush.

It's not flat but it's also not angled. It's this very versatile rounded shape with stiff bristles. Very high quality too.
I am not sure if it is what you are looking for but I've found it to be useful and durable.

The eyeliner brush I use is flat but angled, and it's by ecotools, I bought it at Walgreens and love it and it sounds like it's similar to the SN ultimate brush liner end. It was in a set of 5 brushes for $12-$15 if I remember correctly.

Yeah, I wanted the flat end, rather than angled, I am no good with angled eyeliner brushes (I have 2).

I really like my $1 ELF eye liner brush and it has the flat edge. It gives a pretty nice thin line. I think they must have redesigned this brush because I had it ages ago and it wasn't very good, but I bought another one and the bristles are more taper at the ends and it really works much better now.
