Hello! I was just hoping to get your help regarding which lip glosses I should order. I would like to try a nice variety, so I'm looking for a pink, a red, and a nude. I'm interested in Pout and Hot Blooded, but I would also like to try a demi gloss.

What do you think might work well for me?

Oooh you're beautiful! Pout and Hot Blooded are good...there's few good Kiss Blisses to try. Off the top of my head either Grace or Swept Away would be a good nude- Swept Away is a little more nude than Grace. Breathless would be good on you too, Gold Blush is a fun one- and nice for days when you're undecided (it's my default lippie). I'm sure the others will hop in with the ones that you can't live without, but those would be my picks.

I agree that Pout and Hot Blooded are good choices for you!

Your coloring is so similar to mine right now in the summer, right down to the lip pigmentation, except my hair is a little darker. For nudes I would pick Amour, Delight, or Grace in demiglosses (Amour-bronzy nude, Delight-brownish nude, Grace-pinkish nude). In the regular glosses, I'd pick Breathless for a pinky nude, Sweet Nothing for a mauve nude, or Birthday Suit for a brownish nude. The brownish nudes might not be what you are looking for with your reddish lips. I'd try the other selections first, and maybe the more brown ones in the Fall. (Apologies if you are in the southern hemisphere and coming up on Spring rather than Fall!)

Thanks SO much for your help (and thank you, Karen, for the compliment)! There are so many beautiful shades here that it hasn't been an easy decision! I think I will get the Pout, Hot Blooded, and Breathless this time, but I've saved Gold Blush, Amour, Sweet Nothing, Grace, Beloved, and Berry Crush for later. Do you think the latter two would be okay for me?

You're right, Jen, I'm not really looking for a brown nude right now. I've never actually found one that looked good on me anyway! I may try one of your suggestions later, though (Birthday Suit looks pretty).

Yes! Beloved and Berry Crush would work, too! I really like them both on me!

Oh, are you ever going to have FUN! Breathless will be awesome on you, as will Hot-Blooded! Having Berry Crush on your wishlist is a wise move.

you're a neutral- that means you need ALL of them!!! muahahahaha.

In all seriousness pout is THE perfect pink(i used it on models at my fashion show- it was gorgeous- it looks even more gorgeous with a tan) and hotblooded is the perfect wearable red. Nudes have a pretty wide range- divine, swept away, birthday suit, skinny dip.

Honestly I do think you could wear any of them with your coloring. I'm a tad warmer than you are but I haven't found one yet I couldn't wear (i have about 40)

My two absolute favs are gold blush and berry crush. Gold blush is a very subtle pink with gold shimmer than looks good with everything and berry crush is a pinky gold with a slight metallic sheen.

I can't wait to get these -- I guess I'd better go place my order now!! From the sounds of it, I may end up being another budding SN lippie addict! LOL, Samantha -- I may end up taking your advice on trying them all! (The swatches of all of your glosses have been REALLY helpful, too.) I've actually moved Berry Crush and Gold Blush over to my cart and I'm justifying it by telling myself that my daughter and I can share the sheer ones! Really, I've read so many good things about these two that I'm sure I'll be able to put them to good use. Thanks again, ladies!

Rhys - Rare Berry is a good suggestion. It is red without being shocking. Mobes, it will probably look almost nude on you, perhaps a little pink, since you have nice pigmentation to begin with.
