Short handled liner brush

Usually I wear lenses, but when I wear glasses they make my eyes so small that make up becomes even more important, but I can't get to mirror close enough to make a beautiful and even line((( I have one short handled angled liner brush but it's quality is poor. There are some good brushes in travel sets but I don't need other brushes...
If only I could buy such liners separately... Hope I'm not alone and it is possible)))))

Ladies, nobody needs it?
Maybe you share your secrets? When I line eyes I usually have a small mirror in one hand and a brush in another, but it is inconvenient... I have to put mirror on the table, take the jar have some more cream liner, then take mirror... it takes more time than my usual routine...
Maybe there's other way?

I have to admit I usually take a nice brush and saw the handle off a little if I need a shorter one...... My husband is always wondering what I have been up to when the little saw is out. If the handle is small enough, a pair of kitchen shears might work, too. If the cut edge is a little rough, I just use a little sand paper to smooth it out.

To make a long explanation short......If you have an eyeliner brush that works, just cut it shorter.

What I really want is a short handled bent angle eye liner brush (nothing like wanting your cake and eating it to). I have a cheap one that I got from Avon, and it perfect for not only applying gel liner ( it's orginal purpose) but also my minerals when I foil them to use a liner, however they don't offer it frequently in the Avon catalog, and at a $1.99, I know it won't last forever! Please Karen?

I have that Avon brush too. I LOVE it. I wanted to order another one once I tried it but I haven't caught it being available since. I just didn't want to mention another brand on here, wasn't sure if I was allowed to.

Back to the original topic, have you ever tried applying eyeliner in front of a stationary mirror, like your bathroom mirror? I do mine on sitting in front of the full-body mirror on the door, so I don't have to do the switcharoo. But then, I don't wear eyeliner often. I've always heard people say that glasses make their eyes disappear, but I've never experienced that myself. I think my eyes are just as noticeable with or without. Someone said it might be the kind of lenses I get... if that's the case, then I sing the praises of polycarbonate (read: thin) lenses with antiglare coating. Highly worth the extra $$$ :D

I'll take a look around and see what there is. I don't have much depth perception without my glasses so I've bonked my brush against the mirror a time or two. I totally agree about the anti-glare coating- it does help.

I have sawed a bunch of brushes off to use as travel brushes. They work pretty well :) If they have black handles I sand the bottom so it is rounded, and then colour it in with black felt tip pen :D Looks pretty good!

Bent Eye Liner brushes :) I had the Avon one sometime ago. Also purchased 2 from CoastalScents and 2 from Makeupmarsala. The quality from the latter is much better but they've stopped stocking it. I like a tapered tip to my liner brushes to do the "flick" or "wing". Makes it so easy for precision-lining. Plus, I have the mirror like just a few inches away from my eye, thanks to the bent angle.

I've been looking for new liner brushes, as my bristles are getting splayed but I haven't found any good and affordable alternatives. I'm seriously considering the SN liner brush and bending the metal ferrule slightly.

I must be the odd one out...I've never had a problem using a eyeliner brush with a regular handle! Maybe it has to do with my method though... I use a hand held pocket mirror, lean back, and hold the mirror a bit higher than the brush. Hard to explain, but works, the handle never hits the mirror!

I use a flat angle edged brush instead of the thin liner brushes though, so I guess that helps me speed-wise! ;-) Still, a small version for travel would be nice! :D

That's what I do when I wear lenses))

Actually I've already thought about cutting my brushes but I was so sorry for them? but you encourage me, ladies )) I'll make myself to do it. Thanks!))))
