Help to make my first order please :)

Hi, everybody!
I've been wanting to try Silk Naturals for almost a year now. I already posted pics and got help here:
http://host.silknaturals.com/forum/view ... igi#p14798 (and will definitively try Fig Leaf) but need some different products now. With an overwhelming choice of products here and my busy schedule I never managed to narrow it down an hit the button. You ladies seem to know your colors so well so if you find some time to read through my wishes please give me some recommendations.
Here's the list of things I would really like to find.
1. A lipgloss, preferably in a stick, in a bright nude-peachy-pink, more on the opaque side or buildable, to be able to show up on quite pigmented lips. Something like this:

2. A bright pink-coral blush, almost a bit neon. I imagine it should be very pigmented and when applied lightly to give a nice glow. I was thinking maybe Lovelace?
3. A cheekbone highlighter, without obvious sparkles, to get a bit of that dewy look. Perhaps something that can be applied all over face for the same effect?
4. A cool purple shimmery eyeshadow, bright but still office friendly, not too "electric"?
Do you think that the lipgloss and the blush I described would even work for me? I often find colors and styles I love but can't tell if I could pull it off.
Also do you think that Guava, Satisfied, Sturdust, Cosmic and Gemini would suit me?
Feel free to be brutally honest and to suggest any colors you think might work for me. I don't have much makeup or much talent and will greatly appreciate all advice
Thanks!

1. I don't really wear colored glosses, so I'm not going to attempt to help there.
2. I'm a bit out of my element here as well because I prefer pink blushes. Lovelace looks like a good choice. Flare might be another option.
3. Splendid perfecting glow might be what you are looking for here. Liberty glow is another option to look at.
4. I love purple eye shadows. You might want to check out Vineyard, Brimstone, and Idolize. They are interesting colors with a nice amount of shimmer, but I consider them safe for work because they are relatively muted and don't scream "PURPLE EYE SHADOW!" LOL I wore Brimstone on my lids a lot last winter with a deep purple liner (I teach at a high school). You might also look at Inverness, which is a brand new color. I don't think anyone has received it yet. It's on my wishlist along with Berwick.

1. Bright nude-peachy-pink, more on the opaque side...
Maiden or Best Friend (the Black Label formula is divine!)
2. A bright pink-coral blush, almost a bit neon. I imagine it should be very pigmented and when applied lightly to give a nice glow. I was thinking maybe Lovelace?
Yes, Lovelace is my favorite blush!
3. A cheekbone highlighter, without obvious sparkles...
Sorry, I'm no help here...I love Angel, Crystal, Cherub and Date Bait but these all have obvious sparkles on me.
4. A cool purple shimmery eyeshadow, bright but still office friendly, not too "electric"?
Okay, this is a horrible question to ask me because I am obsessed with SN's purples.

Romp is gorgeous - despite its electric appearance can be very subtle and office friendly. Pop is an amazing multipurpose color with gold morphs that just totally makes your eyes pop. Dreamy is a beautiful highlight and Plush is my favorite liner.
Do you think that the lip gloss and the blush I described would even work for me? I often find colors and styles I love but can't tell if I could pull it off. Also do you think that Guava, Satisfied, Stardust, Cosmic and Gemini would suit me?
It's always worth a try. Personally, I would grab a sample of all of the blushes you named and some glows and then later get a full sized of your top favorites after wearing them all for a while. If the lip glosses don't work for you, just keep it sanitary and there are always people willing to trade and try new colors.
Hope that helps!

Thanks so much girls!
I think I've decided to go with Maiden, Lovelace, Splendid and Date Bait for the purposes I mentioned.
But I also fell in love with Satisfied and Stardust and think I will get those too. Do you think that with these I might end up with 3 very similar blushes?
I know Guava is a different blush but I saw a gorgeous FOTD somewhere here with it and I'm sold on it.
As for the purples, Feyith, I can see why you are obsessed with them. I love Inverness but think that I would have ordered Romp this time. But then I saw that the free special was a beautiful purple!!
You got me thinking on Best Friend too but I failed to find a swatch of it. Any chance someone has a swatch or a pic with BF on?

I've definitely seen Best Friend swatch somewhere on the forum, but can't remember where... Try to go through Swatch threads (but your wishlist might become very huge) they do contain lots of info)
As for similar shades... you never know before you try. Sample them first and you'll understand.
I have Nekkid and Luxe that look the same on me, but I do not regret - they're nice, I just have a good amount of great color. So you do not risk much if you sample blushes.

Lovelace is not the same color as Satisfied, Satisfied (my go-to blush) is a bit deeper, stronger, but very flattering! Stardust is a warm pink (I don't have it) and Guava is a pinky mauve...I don't think they are exactly the same either, though I don't have them to swatch for you.
So, if you are going for sample sizes, I'd say you can pretty safely try all 4!

And if you were thinking of full size, I HIGHLY recommend you get sample sizes first and pair it with the fiber optic brush, since IMO SN blushes are too pigmented for a denser blush brush...and sample sizes will give you enough to wear for a while and decide if you love it or not!

Thanks for your help, everyone!
Die Marchen, ooh, Best Friend is gorgeous, thanks for finding a swatch! It was in my cart but in the last moment I replaced it with Bobbi. I'm happy I ordered Bobbi but now see that BF is also a must for my next order.
I also got Maiden and can't wait to try it, I think JenW nailed it from my description.
I can see how shopping here can easily turn into obsession so I took your advice on getting the samples and taking it slowly

I ordered on Friday and already started stalking the postman although I don't think it is likely for the package to come before Monday. What kind of package should I expect, a box or an envelope? It's 2 lipsticks and 3 blush samples.

Hi Gigi....and welcome to the fun!
your order will probably come in the bright school bus yellow padded envelope. If you order a lot, you will get to the point when just the sight of that envelope mixed in with all your other mail will start your heart a flitter-fluttering.
*my package is here! My package is here!*
I am expecting mine any minute now.....so believe me when I tell you that you will start to find reasons to walk outside a million times just to see if the mail has come.
It's called the stalking the mailman syndrome, and I believe that most of us are guilty of it in varying degrees.
Have fun.
