Bone ES as a matte highlighter for face?

Post by JenK » Thu Sep 15, 2011 7:10 pm

I am looking for a matte cream colored highlighter for face and eyes. Has anyone tried bone as a cheek highlighter?

Jen....I just got Bone with my last order and am using it more than I thought I would, but not really as an eyeshadow. Since I am so fair, it blends right into my skin, and would not work for me as a cheek highlight. However, it is great after primer to use to even out the color of your eyelid, or to blend out your other eyeshadows that might be too bright or too deep. I also use it after my zinc powder and before my foundation to cover up a couple of broken capillaries on my cheeks.
I didn't really answer your question, but I do think Bone is a great color to have in your arsenal.

Laurie,

Thanks for your reply. I have fair/light skin and didn't even think about it NOT showing up on me. Maybe I better take a look at something a bit darker too.

Thanks,
Jen

Hi,

I have the bone e/s and thanks for the headups. I was looking for a highlighter and this thread made me found bone. I guess it will show up for my dark brown skin. It is also nice as a e/s.

Thanks Jenk for this thread.
