Cuticle Oil

I've waited to review this because I wanted to give it a fair chance. I work in the hospitality industry and my hands really take a beating, with constantly dry cuticles. The cuticle oil had some trouble keeping up with tourist season, but as things slow down, my nails are growing in stronger and my cuticles have stopped cracking. The rollerball is uber convenient (I always have an issue with my fingernails gouging the tins of cuticle balm. That and you know, getting the lid off in the first place...) and I have seen noticeable improvement in my nails and cuticles with daily use. I keep it beside the bed and put it on at night. It could perhaps be a tad more moisturizing, but I love the scent, the packaging, and quick dry feature. I've never had cuticle treatment in a rollerball before and I have to say I love it.

I love it, too! I have it at my desk at work, along with an assortment of different lotions/creams (including a jar of SN body butter) for my hands. I spend a lot of my day shuffling paper and it feels like the moisture is just being sucked out of my hands, so I am constantly feeling the need to slather something on to my hands. I have found that my incidents of paper cuts along my cuticles has gone down since I started using the cuticle oil in addition to whatever lotion/cream of the day. And, yes, the rollerball application makes it so easy to quickly get some on, and I love the quick dry aspect, as well.

Catlover, it was part of the MAC program.

I love it too, Karen, please offer it for sale! :D

Thanks for the reply! I guess I missed out , maybe Karen will bring that to the line permanently if there are such positive reviews for it. :) It sounds very convenient and handy for the cold months ahead.

Good! I like it too...you can imagine how much cleaning we do at the shop, and my hands take a beating.

It might need a little oomphing up for winter.

On a side note, I caught DH stealing this yesterday. (He's a casino dealer, that felt sucks all the moisture right out of their hands)

I do love the cuticle balm though - will that stay on the menu even if you add the oil in the roller ball?
Sam, I know what you mean about the lid of the balm: I just end up not closing it all the way once it's open :)

So Heidi put the cuticle oil in one of those long liquid lippie tubes that we have, and we've all been using it and liking it.

Does that work? You'd get more, and the price would be the same.

I would be interested in trying something new especially if it looks convenient. I have cuticle balms in tins and I tend to use those less. Anything with an easy on/off lid that can be quickly swiped on works well for me.

Bonus if it smells good.
