Foundation help

I'm a first time silk naturals foundation purchaser. I know I want the All Purpose Foundation, however I'm unsure of what colors to get with it to mix my perfect shade. I do not see good descriptions of what shades like ebony, or buttery gold are like anywhere on this site. I would rather purchase only 2 of them instead of messing with sample kits. I find them too confusing.

I have very red hair, fair skin, freckles etc, with pink undertones. I would like something to counteract slightly with the pink in my skin, without looking too yellow. My face tends to look slightly more pink then my neck and other areas of skin.

Any suggestions?

I did answer your email before I saw this.

Here is the page where the descriptions are located:

I do think you will be better off with a sample kit. The full size color bases cost quite a bit more. The way the sample kits work is that you choose the formula you want (All Purpose Sample Ivory Kit) on the pull down menu and most of the color bases come with it (Ebony, Warm Gold, Buttery Gold, and Olive). Just throw out the colors you know won't work (probably the Olive and Buttery Gold.)

As I mentioned in the email, I think Ebony is a good one to try, but so are Warm gold and Peach. Peach does not come in the kits as it is pretty uncommon, I think it will be the least likely of the three I mentioned. We do sell the Peach color base separately.
