So we have a new gumball on the site! It's a pressing medium, and so far it's been working wonderfully. It will probably go live, and the purpose of the gumball is to kind of get the conversation started.
And, unfortunately it's time for no one's favorite part of the SN experience. We have to clean off the shelves to make room for new stuff. The eye shadows have gotten really huge, so we're pruning it back a little.
They'll be available while supplies last or until October 17th.
Have fun!

That did go quick...I think we can get together a few more jars, and I just added them to the site.

Oh my goodness, a pressing medium! The best part is that you've already tested it on every single SN eyeshadow on offer, so that takes most of the anxiety (of ruining a shadow) out of the whole process! You guys are amazing. I'm definitely getting this.

I just had someone ask about the water in the formula via email. It's a very tiny amount- just enough to dissolve the carbomer, and then it evaporates out. The ethanol, and propanediol make the mixture self-preserving. When people run into issues with pressing it's usually because they've used glycerin which can rust the pans, and cause bacteria issues.
I have ones that I pressed over the winter, and they're fine. We also challenge tested the actual pressing medium too.

No- It would essentially double the size of the line if we were to offer pressed, and it's just not feasable. We're happy to support pressing, but it's just not practical for us to offer pressed products.
