Anyone tried mixing glow with foundation?

Hey there! I was wondering if anyone has tried mixing a teensy tiny bit of one of the glows (I'd go for Halo) with the foundation for a dewier look? While I love the natural skin finish of the Perfect Harmony foundations sometimes I feel like I'd like a subtle glow to give my skin that soft-focus look.

I can't see any reason not to, especially if putting the glow on after is a bit overpowering for your taste. By mixing them together, you would dilute the amount of 'glowyness'. You could easily mix up a small test batch very similarly to how you tested for your recipe.

Another option that is not so 'committal' is to use a swirly bowl. Put in a shake of your current foundation mix and sprinkle with a little Halo. Swirl with your brush and try it on to see what you think before mixing up a test batch.

Definitely let us know what you think! I may try mixing up a small batch for special occasions.

I just saw on the wishlist that Karen's concocting a perfecting powder with a yellowy golden glow.=D Looks like if I'm patient my wish will come true. Still, I'm ordering a sample of Halo and I'll experiment with the foundation. Will let you know the results! If you give it a try, let me know what you think, Jen. =)

I've done this w/other foundations (before I discovered SN) and it worked out very well. I had mine pre-mixed by the MMU company owner, but Jen's idea of giving a shake of each in your bowl is a good one :)
