Hi Jen -

Another newbie trying to figure out what to do. I just got the Perfect Harmony started kit. Here is the only pic I have right now of me outside. Not fair cause I have swatches all over my face, but hopefully you can look past those. What should I try? In EDM I wear Beige - Light Medium....in Meow I can wear #2 Siamese or #2 Mau (I like Mau better).

You are going to be somewhere in the Warm Gold/Ebony range. From the pic, I really think Warm Gold. In Warm Gold about 1:10, in Ebony about 1:8-9. It may happein that the combining of the two mixes will be just right.

I hope I'm posting this in the correct place! I'm new here and would like some help in picking a foundation color. I have no clue where to even start with the colors. I currently wear EDM Beige Light Medium and I think it's a good match. I can also wear Olive Fair in the dead of winter and even Ivory in the same brand. I'll try to post one pic without makeup and one pic with Beige Light Medium to see what you might suggest -- any suggestions would be a great help:) Thanks

I am really leaning Olive or Warm Gold based on your pic. If the Warm Gold is too yellow...Olive is for you. Warm Gold 1:8 or 9Ivory, Olive 1: 11-12 Ivory.

Thanks so much Jen - I will give it a shot. If I combined the two would I just do one scoop of warm gold and one of ebony in 10 white or one scoop of each in 18 white? Would I just play with the amount of white? Hopefully this makes sense!! Thanks again. Good to see fellow EDM users on here!! Take care

I think you will have to play around with the amount of white with the base color blend. But try single color bases first. It is a simpler recipe and easier to replicate.

In a perfect SN World, none of us need to blend our color base. We try to start with single colors and go from there. Another great thing......if we find we are lacking in a color base, our Karen will make us a new one.

Nevermind, I get it now. So Warm gold 1 to 8or9 Ivory and then, Olive 1 to 11 or 12 Ivory? And Ivory is just the white mixing base? Thanks again
