I love love love Charmed!!!! But I'm the same as you after Julian McMahon left ..........mmm Julian McMahon, where was I right after he left the show I sort of lost interest. I have watched up until season 6 and have watched 7 on dvd but not 8. I just can't face it yet. But when I've had a bad day and want some cheering up, I put on season 4 of charmed and watch for a few hours
The episode where him and Phoebe are training in the basement, with his shirt off would put a smile on any women.Yeah I would say that Dark hunter is on the same scary scale as Harry Potter and Charmed. It's as dark as buffy, Angel and harry potter movies or even Interview with a vampire - the movie (haven't read the books of those two yet). The only things that scares me is my mother in the morning and ghost stories. There is a show in the UK called Most Haunted and when I watch the live shows I have to have the lights on
From the sounds of things Karmen I think you will really enjoy these books (I personally think anyone will but thats just me). The author classes herself as a goth and her books do reflected that but she has a great sense of humour and that's in her books too. Trust me, even though I love gothic, dark toned supernatural books (movies and TV shows) I will always grab for the funny. So if its dark and funny , I'm in book heaven
Even though I love Fantasy Lover, its wasn't until half way through Night Pleasure that I knew I was onto a winner.If I remeber correctly, it took me 50 pages to get into fantasy lover. I stopped at pg 45, left the book for 6 months (I usallay have a few books on the go at times) then went back to it and I couldn't put it down. Does anyone else do that, start reading book, put it down then pick it back up again later. Then you find you stopped too short and now life has come to a stand still as you can't put it down.
I really do hope you enjoy the books Karmen, they are worth at least 1 chance of a read.
We seem to have a lot in common. I really need to at least rent the DVDs though and finish up the series and see what happened. I pretty much quit it after they killed off Beltheazor! So you think that was around season 4 then that I quit watching? I think Julian's gotten a lot more notoriety since Nip/Tuck came out. I watched that the first few seasons of that and really liked it but then sort of lost interest in that too (the whole story line with the carver and all of that got on my nerves!! Are you familiar w/ that show in the UK?) The first few seasons were really good and if you are into over the top and shocking it doesn't disappoint - it really isn't my style but of course with Julian being in it I watched. 
I also watched the movie "Premonition" strictly because he was in it - didn't really like it that well but once again, because he was in it - oh well.... LOL.
